London eye

The London Eye has become an iconic landmark and a symbol of modern Britain, The London Eye is the UK’s most popular paid for visitor attraction, visited by over 3.5 million people a year. The London Eye is the vision of David Marks and Julia Barfield, a husband and wife architect team. The wheel design was used as a metaphor for the end of the 20th century, and time turning into the new millennium. The London Eye open to the public in March 2000. London Eye has several awards, including those achieved in 2007: Best attraction in Europe and UK’s Attraction of the Year.      
                                    

The london eye has got 32 capsuled, they represent the 32 borougs of London. It took seven years to make the London Eye.

                                      

You can see 40 KM from the top as for Windsor Castle Clear Day. The London Eye can carry as many passangers as 11 London red doubled-decker buses.

The nearest underground station is Waterloo. You must buy tickets 30 minutes before your flight.

A holiday to remember

This holiday was very funny. I went to Extremadura with my family and my uncle Francisco. I went in September 2007 when i was 12 years old I went to Extremadura a town called ``Villanueva de la Vera´´.


I stayed a friends house. The house was very beautiful, but the kitchen was very small. The house was very cheap and the bed was very comfortable. I slept in a room with my sister and she said that her bed was very uncomfortable. I stayed for a week (10-17 September),


The first day I visited to two mountains where a boy collapsed. The first mountain was very beautiful and very tall. The second mountain had a river where there were birds.


The secon day I visited the xoo in ``Caceres´´ where was many animals. I love this zoo, but the zoo was very expensive. By the nights we went to the restaurant ``Bar Casa Juan´´ where the was good, but the restaurant was very small and was many people.

In general, the places were very cheap I bought a trousers of my father, t-shirt of my mother and necklace of my sister. The necklace was expensive. The friends house was very nice, the people was very good (the ``Extremeños´´ was very good people). I and my family must repeat holiday.

My name is Jonathan Castro. I live in Chipiona. I am 15 years old. My birthday is 7th of May. I am one sister her name is Lorena and one brother his name is Jose Luis. I like Chipiona because of its beaches. I study at the school Caepionis. I want to be language teacher. I like football, my favourite teams is Real Madrid and my favourite player is Iker Casillas, I play football three days on the week with my friends, it is very funny. I don´t cooking, but i prefer reading, I am reading the book ``Viaje al centro de la Tierra´´ at the moment. I never go to shopping because I hate go to shopping.

My day is very boring by the morning but in the afternoon is very funny. I weak up about seven thirthy to go to school. When I arrive the school, I eat. Then I do the homewoork and I surf in the internet. Finally I have dinner about ten o´clock in a kitchen. I go to bed around half past eleven.
