Our visit to Barbadillo winery

The wine making process

First, vines are grown in a soil called ``Albariza´´ and palomino grapes are carefully cut from the vines.

After that, musts are poured in metal thanks and the new wines are classified for ageing.

Then, casks are made of American oak and the older wines are blond with younger wines.

Next, the fino wines are aged under yeast or ``Velo de flor´´ and wine is bottled from the lower butt.

Finally, the barbadillo wines are sold worldwide. One note the manzanilla is produced only in Sanlucar de Barrameda.
